Baked potatoes - scrub, prick and bake at 375 until skewer or knife goes through cleanly  
Mashed potatoes - prick and boil whole potatoes; warm milk and butter together and mash with peeled cooked potatoes, salt and pepper
Roasted potatoes - toss cubed waxy potatoes with olive oil and seasonings and roast on foil lined pan at 450, tossing occasionally
