1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound sweet Italian sausage, casings removed 2 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced thin 4 cups chicken broth 12 ounces dried cheese tortellini 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil ½ cup shredded parmesan, for garnish 1. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium. Crumble sausage into skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. 2. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add broth and pasta and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes. 3. Stir in tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are softened and heated through. Serve topped with basil and parmesan. Added June 2019
