1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
2 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced thin
4 cups chicken broth
12 ounces dried cheese tortellini
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
½ cup shredded parmesan, for garnish

1.  Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium.  Crumble sausage into skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.

2.  Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.  Add broth and pasta and bring to a boil.  Cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes.

3.  Stir in tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are softened and heated through.  Serve topped with basil and parmesan.
