Peach Cobbler

​1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup milk
4 cups peeled, thickly sliced peaches
1/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup cold butter
whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving
 
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 2 quart baking dish with cooking spray.
 
2. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon and baking powder; stir in milk. Pour into prepared dish. Add fruit in an even layer over flour mixture. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Grate butter over brown sugar as evenly as possible.
 
3. Bake until puffed and deep golden brown, about an hour. Let stand for ten minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
