1 ½ pounds boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 4 pieces
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons flour
1 can (14 ounces) beef broth

1. Season steaks with salt and pepper; cook steaks in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat to desired doneness. Remove steaks from the skillet, reserving drippings; set aside and keep warm.

2. Heat butter in skillet; add mushrooms and cook until tender. Stir in flour and pepper to taste and cook for 1 minute. Gradually stir in broth. Cook and stir until the mixture boils and thickens; serve mushroom sauce with steaks.
